Using ProtoMass 3D

1. Use of the service

ProtoMass 3D provides tools for uploading 3D models, generating quotes, and producing printed parts. By using this service, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes.

2. Accounts

You may use parts of the service without an account. Creating an account allows you to save models, quotes, and orders. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

3. Uploaded files and responsibility

When you upload a 3D model file, you confirm that:

• You own the file or have permission to use it
• The file does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• The file does not contain harmful or malicious content

You are responsible for the accuracy and suitability of your model. While we perform basic printability checks, we cannot guarantee that every design will print perfectly or function as intended.

4. Quotes and pricing

Quotes are generated automatically based on your model, selected material, and settings. Final pricing is confirmed at checkout and may include taxes and shipping.

5. Orders and production

Once an order is placed, production begins based on the selected settings. Small variations in appearance, finish, or dimensions may occur due to the nature of 3D printing.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Orders may be cancelled before production begins. Once printing has started, cancellations may not be possible. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your uploaded files. ProtoMass 3D does not claim ownership of your designs. Uploaded files are used only to provide quotes and complete your order.

8. Limitation of liability

ProtoMass 3D is not responsible for damages resulting from the use of printed parts, including improper use or design flaws in uploaded models. Use printed parts at your own discretion.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change or be updated without notice.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated occasionally. Continued use of the service means you accept any updated terms.
