The easiest and most popular 3D printing material. Best for hobby prints, prototypes, miniatures, display pieces, and clean-looking parts.

Material Properties

Flexibility Low

Rigid rather than bendy. Not ideal for snap-fit or flexing parts.

Impact Resistance Medium–Low

Fine for light use, but can crack under sudden force.

Heat Resistance Low

Can soften in a hot car, direct sunlight, or near heat sources.

Advantages

  • Not ideal for outdoor parts.
  • Poor choice for repeated bending or impact.
